Director of Instruction
One of Northern California’s top-rated golf instructors, Alexandra leads all instruction for Short Game Artists Golf Academy teaching the short game as well as the full swing. Her accomplishments include:
Alexandra has a passion for playing and especially teaching golf. She started playing when she was 12 and immediately fell in love with the game. By 14 she was already a nationally ranked junior golfer. A near-death accident at 16 left in her a wheelchair with a prognosis that she would never walk again. Finally ignoring those who said she couldn’t, during her senior year of college she decided to give golf one more try and through hard training and sheer effort not only starting playing again, but became competitive enough to make it onto the LGPA Symetra Tour where she competed successfully for six years.
Since the conclusion of her Tour career Alexandra has focused her energies on teaching others. For the past 10 years she has been coaching juniors and adults on the full swing, short game, as well as golf strategy. Most recently she was Director of Player Development at Denver Country Club where she developed their Player Development Program for competitive and elite players. Today she still loves the game as much as when she first started and is constantly learning and increasingly her depth and breadth of knowledge for her students. Despite competing at an elite level, her personal history of overcoming challenges has given her unique insight and empathy into the challenges that many newer golfers face. Feeling incredibly blessed to be able to help students learn about and share the enjoyment of the game every day she looks forward to meeting and helping new people at Short Game Artists Golf Academy!
